In March 2009 Lexmark introduced the 30 page per minute (ppm) X264, 35 ppm X363 and 35 ppm X364 MFPs. The functionality of all three models includes printing, copying and scanning, while the X264 and X364 also faxes. Duty cycles are 50,000 for the X264 and 80,000 for the X363 and X364 models.

All three printers ship with reduced page yield starter return program cartridges. The X264’s starter is OEM-stated as 1,500 page yield and the X363 and X364 as 3,000 page yield. The replacement supplies set is made up of separate toner cartridge and drum units. All toner cartridges require a chip for proper printer operation.

Replacement toner cartridges are available in 3,500 page low yield and 9,000 page high yield versions, in both use and return and no-return options. Starter cores are identical to the low yield versions and will hold the low yield toner load with no issues, making them useful as replacement low yield cartridges with no modifications - other than filling with Static Control’s E260 toner and attaching the correct replacement low yield chip.
